Run-in analysis: current PPG (Points Per Game) of remaining opponents
More information about the columns can be displayed by hovering the mouse cursor over the column titles in the table above.
Note: for each team listed in the table above, the 'Current PPG of remaining opponents (at home or away)' value is calculated based on the current PPG (Points Per Game) of each of their remaining opponents in the league's regular season, taking into account whether the opponent will be faced at home or away.
The opponents PPG values taken into account in the calculation are the away PPG for all opponents to be played at home, and the home PPG for all opponents to be played away.
For example, let's assume that a team has 4 matches left to play in the regular season:
Match #1 at home against Opponent A
Match #2 away against Opponent B
Match #3 at home against Opponent C
Match #4 away against Opponent D
The value calculated for 'Current PPG of remaining opponents (at home or away)' in that example will be the average of the away PPG of Opponent A, the home PPG of Opponent B, the away PPG of Opponent C, and the home PPG of Opponent D.
The objective is to evaluate PPG of remaining opponents based on whether such opponents will be faced at home or away, as there may be a significant difference between a given opponent's results achieved in their home matches and those achieved in away matches.
